Jim Procter is the Co-owner and Land Development Specilaist for New World Real Estate (NWRE) in Panama. They have offices in Panama City, Santa Clara/Farallon, Boquete and coming soon their office in Pedasi (Azueros Peninsula). Jim's expertise lie in the development of land for business or personal purposes. He has helped many successful people become more successful by using his 30 years of knowledge in Real Estate and Tourism from Costa Rica.

Jim captained a sailboat to Costa Rica from Vancouver over 30 years ago and never left. He moved to Panama after building and running a boutique hotel in Costa Rica for over 10 years and working in Toruism for over 30 years. This has allowed Jim to have a keen understanding of development but also more importantly Tourism patterns in developing countries.

His expertise lie in large land developments on the Pacific Coast from Panama City right up to the border with Costa Rica. You will usually find him in his 4x4 driving up and down the Pacific Coast of Panama with clients or looking for the next piece of development paradise to show to his clients.

7 Day Specialist Real Estate Tour of Panama

$1200 per day per couple - includes transportation, hotels, breakfast, meeting with banker/lawyer and the expert knowledge of Jim Procter.

Panama City, Azueros and Chiriqui Regions

Below is a more detailed itinerary of what a typical Real Estate Tour with Jim would look like, however every tour is customised to the individual needs of his clients.

Day 1 - Fly into Panama City and be met by a Jim Procter at the airport, where your itinerary will be explained and any questions you have will be answered. Jim will provide you with a portfolio pouch that contains information about your trip and Real Estate in Panama. You will be privately driven to your hotel to spend your first night at The Bristol Hotel in downtown Panama City. This hotel offers some of the best service you will find in Panama City as well as being closely located to the banking and financial disctrict of Panama City. The Financial district is one of the most important areas of Panama after the Panama Canal. Banking in Panama is the most effecient and effective in Central America and is considered one of the most stable banking industries in the world.

Day 2 - fter Breakfast you will drive at your own pace to the Azueros Peninsula where you will stay in Pedasi at Villa Camilla. On your journey you can stop to look at some of projects and land available around the Santa Clara and farallon areas. These areas have seen lots of growth over the past 5 years as they are situated closely to Panama City. Many wealthy Panamanians have houses on the beach in these locations. In theAM if you want you can visit a banker and discuss the financial gains and implications of owning and buying property in Panama. If you are looking to borrow from the bank then this is very easily done in Panama and will be explained to you. If you wish you can also visit a Lawyer and discuss the legal implications and also the potential benefits of incorporating property. If you want this can be done on your last day.

Azueros Property

Day 3 - After breakfast you will explore some of the land and property available from Pedasi to Santiago. You will drive down the west side of the Azueros Peninsula viewing properties that are for sale that are sometimes not listed. You will go as far as Mariato and Torio. You will have already organised with Jim what properties appeal to you and what you want to see and therefore this may differ on your own custom itinerary. Stay at La Hacienda.

Jim know the Azueros Peninsual like tha back of hand as he has sailed around the Peninsula many timesand is also friends with the locals. If there is anything that someone wants to sell in the Azueros Jim will know about it. According to Jim the Azueros is the Guanacaste of Costa Rica!!

Day 4 - You will have spent the night in Santiago at La Hacienda. When you wake in the morning you will be driven by Jim from Santiago to David, the Capital of the Chiriqui Province and then up to Boquete. This area of Panama offers cool climates with some fantastic views and weather all year around. The area has seen an increase in construction recently as many people like this area of Panama and many North Americans and Europeans have retired here. After lunch at the hotel you will be taken around to see some of the property on offer in Boquete. You may wish to see some of the new developments that are happening and also meet some of the local retiress. Jim would highly suggest dinner at the Panamonte Hotel's restaurant!!
