Located in the West of Panama is the region of Chiriqui, which hosts the City of David. David is the largest city in the region, and also the North-Western Sector of Panama. It is the third largest city in all of Panama. The City was originally set up as a camp for the local Gold mine in the 1730's, and has since gone through large development. It now houses a population of over 100,000 inhabitants.

David has great access routes, as it resides on the main artery running through the country, the Pan American Highway. This link is used as a trade route, and David is used as a resting destination for people who are traveling long distances and on into Costa Rica. David hosts a very good airport, which you will fly into if visiting any of the mountain hotels in the region.

The area is well known for its produce, which includes such crops as sugar, bananas, rice, coffer, cacao and timber. These are all refined and traded in the area. David also has a lot of Cattle raising areas, and you are always sure to see cattle as you explore the stunning country side.

So its great for tourists, But what does it have to offer investors?

Location - The City is one of the 3rd largest in Panama and is a the heart of the Northern Regions, you can also fly to Panama City or Bocas from David. david is only 1 hour to the beaches and also only 1 hour to the mountains near Boquete.

Tourism - There are always a lot of tourists in the area, due to its location on the Pan American Highway and proximity to the Costa Rican border and local airport. People are always flying in and out of the airport as they travel the country, and David is an ideal place to stop.
