The pool at this resort is nothing short of awe inspiring, with an infinity edge dropping right on the flawless white sanded beach and blue ocean. At the foot of this pool, lies another smaller pool, right next to a turtle sanctuary, perfect to relax in and admire the stunning views.

75 feet above the Ocean and beach sits the impressive resort clubhouse. Being raised off the beach, allows for stunning views to be had in all directions from the clubhouse, which is where most guests go to eat. The food here is organically prepared and harvested on the Island. Therefore the days menu is designed around what was caught or picked earlier that morning, making for some of the freshest and most flavorsome food in Panama.

The clubhouse also house the Sports Bar, which includes a pool table, darts, table games, Direct TV and of course a Bar. Around the pool guests have full use of amenities such as lounge chairs, dining tables, hammocks, sauna, weight room, restroom, gym, snack bar and of course the amazing views. For the kids there is a TV room with video library to keep them occupied.

Apart from this stunning resort, the Island of San Jose is completely uninhabited. The surrounding rainforest is full of a wonderful array of wildlife ranging from wild pigs, deer and iguanas to agoutis, parrots and giant pigeons. During the right season you will be able to watch the sea turtles laying their eggs on the beach, and swimming in the Ocean.

'The natural beauty of the Island is something that cannot be described, it's paradise. The Suites are very nicely decorated and offer superb ocean views. The fishing and snorkeling in the area is some of best in Panama. If you are lucky you may get to see whales and turtles in the bay of the Island.'
