The
Bocas del Toro Hotel was one of Bocas' first hotels,
and was built using local hardwoods by a local master
crafstman. The hotel is very typical of the area, with
traditional Panamanian Decor and design features. The
hotel is built on stilts out into the Caribbean Sea,
and is open to the warm breezes that flow during the
evening.
The hotel is now run by American management,
but having lived in Hawaii for over 20 years, guests
receive the Aloha Spirit and Hospitality Hawiian style
via the grea staff, who are all Bocateranians, who always
provide the highest service.
The hotels town center location makes
it a perfect base for exploring the surroundings, with
a number of great bars and restaurants to try out. The
actual area itself has seen a great deal of increase
in the local tourism industry recently, however this
great hotel has stuck to its roots and kept the traditional
Panamanian feel that people have come to love over the
past years. At the back of the hotel is the dining area,
and an inviting swimming area for all to use.
With 11 intimate guest rooms, this
hotel is small and has a great feel to it. Some of the
rooms have stunning Ocean Views, whilst others have
great views of the town. The rooms offer guests superb
comfort, with 300 thread count cotton sheets, safety
boxes, A/C, cable TV, phones, balconies with great views
and the option of in-room massages which are available
upon request. |
